Teachers from the Trenches: Do you have a classroom website you could share with us?
TECS390 Students: As you assignment in Moodle indicated, find two classroom teacher websites that think are cool and share the URL here with your classmates. Make sure you tell us why you like the website and thought it was worth sharing.

I created to share resources for using our reading series. It began with just my own first grade classroom and grew to include all grade levels and resources submitted by teachers across the country.
Somebody, I think Wesley Fryer, shared this resource in a podcast recently, SpellingCity is a fun new educational site that can help children improve their spelling skills....... http://www.spellingcity.com/
WoW! Your video site is amazing, can't wait to share that with our Digital Storytelling unit this semester. thanks
Hello, I have a classroom wiki for my middle school students that I use as a website. Fletcherwiki. I've incorporated my delicious links to specific science units, so there might be some useful/interesting sites you come across from those pages.
www.theteachercorner.com
This website has great tips, awesoke lesson plans, and MANY printable worksheets for elementary and middle school students
www.teacherfirst.com
This website is also great. It has many web resources, a "current issues" tab, and also "what's hot" with more resources and information for classrooms!
The children have just begin to write their own posts. I try to get those up once a week. The students also help write the general classroom posts. We do this a shared writing experience. You will find links to other classroom blogs and projects.
if you visit our blog, please leave a comment or question. The children love to read the comments and answer questions.
I have a website I use quite frequently. Teachers post their lesson plans and I have borrowed powerpoints and worksheets too many times to count. By the way, I use it for Spanish but I know they have other subject areas, I just don't know if they are any good.
