My URL is http://del.icio.us/tanamarie. I choose del.icio.us last summer while taking TECS 290. I choose it at that time because most of the information available about social bookmarking was about del.icio.us. This site seemed like it was going to be the easiest to use. For technology illiterate people like me this is a very good thing. Since last summer I have continued to use it for very many different classes and other various reasons. I love it! It has been a life saver is more then occasion. It's also a great way to do research and learn new things from other educators. I'm really happy with the choice I made.

I set up one for my district at http://www.ikeepbookmarks.com/flinthills_school - I like the folder option and the ease I can use it with students. As my district tech director I also appreciate the ability to put curriculum related sites in the appropriate teacher's folder. I have a del.icio.us account but keep forgetting to use it.

I chose blinklist for my social bookmarking site. I really like the button this site allows you to add to Firefox's bookmark tool bar. This makes it simple to add a site to my list. If I am browsing a site and i want to add it, i can just click on the button. If I am logged in, it simply adds it to my list.

I chose del.icio.us for my social bookmarking. Before this class I had no idea what a social bookmarking was, but now looking over everything that del.icio.us offers I am excited to start using it. Del.icio.us is very useful and easy to use. The tags that we attatch to each link will be very helpful. I am very excited to start using this social bookmark in the future!

I chose to use del.icio.us. After looking at the different choices available to us, and talking to other classmates, I felt that this was the best choice for me. I like how it is organize, and I especially like how easy it is to add and edit links. I also liked the tags that we can attach to each link. This will be very helpful when we are searching for a specific kind of website. I like also that we can access this social bookmark from any computer anywhere. This will be very helpful. I know it is frustrating when I am not on my own computer and I go to use favorites and they aren't there. I can't wait to use this wonderful technology!

Social bookmarking is a great online organizational tool. I can see myself using this online resource in my future classroom, especially with research-based projects. After reviewing the various social bookmarking websites, I decided to use del.icio.us because it appears to be the most user-friendly. I can see myself adding to this site frequently throughout the course of the semester! ☺

Before reading about Social Bookmarking I had no idea what it was nor how to use it. So, to begin my journey on what it was I read about it under the topics for this class. Personally, I think Social Bookmarking is a great tool because it allows people to become more organized. After going over my options on what bookmarking site to use I decided to go with del.icio.us because it seemed liked the best fit for me. It is very easy to use. Another reason I liked del.icio.us was because it helps keep me organized with what sites I frequently use. I would recommend this bookmarking site to anyone!

I’m really excited to use social bookmarking! I’m constantly adding websites to my “favorites” list, but this will be so much better since I will actually be able to access these websites from other computers. It's a shame that social bookmarking is such a well-kept secret; I wish I would have known about this all along. I decided to go with del.icio.us because it seemed pretty user-friendly and I thought it was nice that I was able to install the buttons right into my browser.

I chose the use the del.icio.us website. My URL address is http://del.icio.us/bjmorgan. I was first introduced to using Social Bookmarking last semester in TECS 290. After the semester was over, I still found myself tagging certain websites, and organizing them! I think this is a great FREE source, and everyone should know about them.

I like the idea of social bookmarking, but I've never taken the time to upload and annotate the hundreds/thousands of bookmarks I've accumulated over the years. I have a del.icio.us page at: http://del.icio.us/rschott, but before I invest a lot of time in transferring bookmarks there I'm going to take a good hard look at Ma.gnolia and possibly some others. Anyone have any experience with any of these?

nope, never heard of it, but will take a look. The website link is: http://ma.gnolia.com/
